RESOURCE DESIGN RATIONALE

Project Brief: Conduct a thorough analysis of the project brief. Ensure understanding of the learning objectives, target audience and project scope. This involves consulting with Subject Matter Experts and gathering relevant information about the learning interventions and modes of delivery.

Content Planning: Develop a detailed content plan that outlines the structure, key topics and task-types to be covered in the resources. This plan serves as a roadmap for the writing process, and ensures alignment with the desired learning outcomes.

Research and Analysis: Undertake extensive research on the chosen topics by referring to reputable publishers and expert practitioners. This enables the assemblage of accurate and up-to-date information to provide learners with relevant and reliable content.

Writing and Organization: Focus on creating clear, concise and stimulating content, and use instructional design principles to guide the production of learner-centred exercises and activities. Organise the material logically, ensuring a coherent stage-by-stage learning process.

Visual Design: Create visually attractive learning aids to support the learning interventions. Select appropriate layouts, images, colour schemes, and fonts, and use a visual hierarchy that ensures the intended message is communicated effectively.  

Review and Editing:  Perform multiple rounds of reviewing and editing. Check for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to style guidelines. Seek feedback from Subject Matter Experts to ensure the resources meet organisational requirements and expectations.
